With academic excellence declining in townships and rural areas, the Beacon of Change Foundation embarked on a fact-finding mission to identify the root causes of this challenge. The foundation's investigation revealed that socio-economic conditions are a major contributor to the decline. In response, the foundation is taking proactive steps to address the issue by establishing a bursary fund, aimed at supporting high-achieving matriculates from these disadvantaged areas.

To make this initiative a success, Beacon of Change is actively engaging with potential investors, particularly shopping malls located within these communities. The foundation strongly believes that through collective efforts and partnerships, this educational crisis can be effectively tackled. 

By mobilizing resources and securing investments, Beacon of Change aims to provide deserving students with the financial support they need to pursue their academic dreams, thereby fostering a brighter future for the communities they come from. Together, we can overcome the socio-economic barriers to education and restore the spirit of academic excellence in our townships and rural areas.
